The interview I did on GMA Now was so much fun and it wasn't too early in the morning which was a big plus. Their studio is right smack in the middle of Times Square and you can almost see up into the second floor interview area from the busy street. After checking in with security, Jasmine came down to escort me up so I wouldn't get lost in the huge studio. We walked by a table with actual slabs of real lawn-grass laid out for an upcoming segment. Sliding chrome doors closed behind us as we entered a bare room and then it suddenly started moving up! I realized we were in the world's largest elevator. Big enough to fit at least two elephants, if that should ever become necessary for a future show. I asked Jasmine if she thought the elevator was larger than 50% of New Yorker's apartments and she said, probably yes. Upstairs, Jasmine made sure I knew where everything was in the Green Room, which like all other Green Room's I am discovering is actually beige. A few other slightly sleep guests were sipping the coffee and snacking on fruit and bagels from the mini-buffet. I chatted with Ed, a camera operator, who introduced me to his beautiful 11year old daughter who is interested in modeling. They get younger every year! Getting my hair and makeup done by the experts was a good time since they chatted about all the celebrities they have beautified. Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley are apparently very nice and down to earth. Sometimes what you read in magazine is actually true. The interview itself was quite relaxed because the host, Robert, is good at putting people at ease and the producers had joked with me before the taping started. I wore a really gorgeous white silk dress from my friend Richard Gien's collection that everone loved. Who knew media appearances would be one of the best perks of writing a book!
